Which Sword Mods?
Hope this is in the right place?
Too start, I am after a sword just for general PvE/Questing.
I've read a few comparisons for Sundering Vs Furious and Defence Vs Fortitude.
Most of it seems just to come down to personal preferance.
I was wondering how effective a Zealous mod on a sword actually is?
I already have a Victo's Blade (Vampiric/Fortitude) and was after another setup.
I was leaning toward Furious/Fortitude or Zealous/Fortitude
Anyone got some good info?

It depends on your build, furious is good for adren, zealous is good for energy (if you know what you're doing).
Personally I use the forgotten sword with sundering (shock horror), now apparrently according to the majoirty of people on this forum sundering is apparrently useless in every way shape or form. But honestly I dont care, if you need it for PvE and questing, just pick whatever gets in your way the least, thats why I played through GWP, GWF and GWN with an ICY mod, because something flashy isnt really useful for a sword unless your build specifys it. For example if your build was high energy and you spend alot of time in stances that increase attack speed (eg frenzy, flail or tigers) then zealous will help.
So I probably havent been much of a help, but personally, I wouldn't go for zealous unless you really find you need it, so probably furious if you really have your heart set on it.
But seriously, I have the forgotten sword and victos blade, and I normally spend 60-70% of my time with victos out, because +3 armour ignoring damage is very fun indeed, especially if theres a grenth shrine.

*clears throat*...you sir, are an idoit!...*ahem*
lol, just kidding!
yeah, while i and most everyone else will say sundering is useless, your statement is correct: it is pve, so you can rly do whatever you want and it will work. heck, you can use minions and a wand with your warrior and you will probably get 75% through the game.
ok, as for sword mods:
furious if you are using an adren heavy build.
zealous if you are running an energy heavy build.
elemental for dealing with warriors.
sundering...just for the heck of it.
as for the other mod, id go defense (+5 armor) or the fortitude (+30 hp). both offer pluses and minuses, and they seem to be about even.
if i were you though, id stick with the vamp weapon, and just use whatever as a swap while not in battle. if you plan on expanding into pvp, might want to grab one of each, just so you have anything you might need.

Permission granted by community to slap my head.
Well, my choice would be either Zealous or Elemental. Furious isn't good enough anyway for it to take away your prefix.
